Washing powder clogs up your washing machine drawer whilst washing liquid does not rinse out thoroughly. Always follow the manufacturers guidelines for best results for your wash.
If you use a low wash temperature on a regular basis try to run a hot wash on an empty machine, this will kill any germs and bacteria that are forming.
Make sure you wipe the door and seal with a dry clean cloth this will reduce bacteria and clear any debris
